How to enjoy Nyons olives to the fullest?
Open the jar at least three to five days before consumption. Upon opening, you will clearly hear the release of ripening gas. The volume of olives will slightly increase, the fruits will begin to "breathe" again, darken, and intensively blacken. In principle, they could now be consumed immediately, but natural fermentation and bitter compounds still need a few more days to completely break down. Therefore, be patient and allow the olives this time to mature to their optimal taste quality. After opening, the storage time is two to four weeks depending on the storage temperature. This can be extended by adding a little cold-pressed olive oil to the olives.
